Why choose Panorama NIPT?
- Earliest NIPT option: Available from 9 weeks, earlier than most NIPTs.
- Accurate screening: for chromosomal conditions with AI-enhanced technology for better precision.
- Safe and Simple: Requires only a single tube of maternal blood; no risk to you or your baby.
- Low Failure Rate: Lower 'no result' rate than other NIPTs (1.4%)
- Optional Gender Reveal: Find out your baby’s sex with over 99% accuracy, if you wish.
What conditions does Panorama AI screen for?
- Common trisomies: Down’s syndrome (Trisomy 21), Edwards syndrome (Trisomy 18) and Patau syndrome (Trisomy 13)
- Sex chromosome conditions: Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome and Other X/Y chromosomal changes
- 1 microdeletion syndromes: DiGeorge syndrome (22q11.2 deletion).*
- Additional screening: Triploidy (an extra full set of chromosomes), Panorama AI is the only NIPT we offer that screens for this condition.
- Optional Fetal Sex Determination: Know your baby’s sex early, if desired.
Full condition list available on request or during your midwife appointment or genetic counselling session. Panorama can detect over 80% of DiGeorge cases with a positive predictive value of 53%. Early detection can allow earlier monitoring and care planning, including a targeted fetal heart scan from 12 weeks.
*Please note: if you choose to include screening for DiGeorge syndrome, Panorama AI is not suitable for twin pregnancies or pregnancies using donor eggs or surrogacy.
How does the Panorama work?
Just one blood sample is needed from the mother , taken from 9 weeks into pregnancy. The sample is analysed in a specialist US-based lab using Panorama’s SNP-based technology and AI algorithms for higher accuracy. Results are typically available in 5-10 working days.
Who Should Consider Panorama?
Panorama is a good choice if you:
- Want early and accurate information about your baby’s health.
- Are considering screening for DiGeorge syndrome or triploidy.
- Are pregnant with twins or using donor eggs (Panorama can screen for common trisomies in these cases, but not DiGeorge)
- You want to know more than what the baseline Aneuploidy NIPT offers.
- Prefer fewer inconclusive results and a lower redraw rate.
Panorama offers one of the most accurate early screening options available. Combine it with our early anomaly scan for a more complete picture of your baby’s health.
